Dr. Aqeel Safdar is an Ex-Professor of Paediatric Surgery in Pakistan and currently works as a Senior Lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London. He has over 25 years of experience in performing both routine and complex paediatric surgeries, including more than 5,000 successful procedures. He specialises in baby and child circumcision using various surgical techniques.
He has held senior roles in leading healthcare systems, including the NHS, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, and is fully GMC-registered. Dr. Safdar is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
As a former Professor of Paediatric Surgery, he has played a key role in both clinical care and surgical education. He now continues to contribute to medical training as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Skills at Queen Mary University of London.
