Circumcision Services in Cambridge

Our Cambridge clinic offers the full range of circumcision services for every age group, with the technique selected to suit the patient's age, anatomy and clinical needs.

Newborn Circumcision in Cambridge

We recommend circumcision for newborns between 3 days and 8 weeks of age, when healing is quickest. Our clinic uses the innovative Circumplast ring method in preference to the Plastibell, as it minimises migration, reduces complications and promotes neat healing. Plastibell, Mogen clamp and Gomco clamp are also available where suitable. Parents receive clear written guidance and free follow-up for 4 weeks.

Boys Circumcision in Cambridge

Our child-friendly approach keeps boys comfortable and calm throughout. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic by a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon, and parents are fully informed at every step. We also assess boys with phimosis, balanitis and BXO, and offer foreskin-preserving alternatives such as preputioplasty where appropriate.

Adult Circumcision in Cambridge

Adult patients can choose from ZSR stapler, glue (Derma+Flex) and stitch methods, including the exclusive “Khan Technique”. The style of circumcision (high or low, tight or loose) is planned with you at consultation to achieve the result you want. We also provide circumcision revision, frenuloplasty and treatment of phimosis, balanitis, BXO and paraphimosis. Needle-free anaesthesia is available for patients with needle phobia.
